After reading your reply I immediately understood that even thinking that I want to ascend only within this lifetime and hence I must survive any how for sake of ascension would not be serving God. I further realized that the very thought of ascending only within this lifetime, if becomes an obsession, then it is binding and thus against the very idea of ascension.
