As soon as I saw it, I ran inside to get my camera and tripod. In less than a minute, what I saw was gone to my eye.

This is what it looked like, and three feathery, wispy apparitions accompanied it.

When I saw it, my immediate reaction was that it was supernatural, and I really did a doubletake.

I saw it twice last year, and again in late August of this year, and in September while driving.

Twice last year, again in August (less than two months ago)…

And then I saw it on September 30th while driving.

It’s interesting that my high school mascot was the comet.
